Sustainable Building

Sustainable building, also called green building and eco friendly building is something that has gotten more and more popular as people begin to realize the harmful repercussions of the building meathods that we are using the most today. I won't go into the many different factors of modern construction, building materials and landskaping that make these things so dangerous because that would take a very long time.

Sustainable building is a way to have great looking homes or businesses for a very friendly price and it's virtually harmless to our world.

There are many different techniques including cob building, rammed earth, strawbale, sustainably harvested wood and many others. These techniques are not only very attractive but also much more affordable than the average home, and have very low utility costs becuase most dont need heat or air conditioning because the walls are so thick. These are also very durable because of their natural construction, many of the oldest buildings and ruins in the world were made using some of these exact techniques.
