This is me having the time of my life on the Geo 270 trip to Italy.
Currently I am a studio art major at Brevard College working towards graduating next December. I have loved art and traveling for as long as I can remember and am immensely grateful to be in college, because it allows me ample opportunity to explore both of my passions. I transferred to Brevard College after completing two years of undergraduate study at Appalachian State University and am very happy in my new home.
My family is originally from the north as both my parents were raised in Illinois and I was born in Minnesota. However, after spending most of my life in Charlotte, NC I am proud to claim myself as a southerner. Although I love the south I have been eager to explore new terrain and have traveled to many different parts of the United States and have been fortunate enough to travel to Costa Rica, Germany, and Canada. This summer I plan on traveling to Italy with Brevard College to study the geology of the region. After the trip to Italy is over I hope to travel on my own and see some of the world's finest art museums and artifacts, wish me luck!
