Todd Fredericksen did the lion's share of the work to make this trip happen. He was tireless in making the arrangements. Mike Sonnenberg was extremely valuable in procuring a good price on the airline tickets and on the travel insurance. Mike also proved to be a photographer extraordinaire, chronicling the trip with hundreds of photos and video.

For the second time this summer I was lucky to be traveling with a fantastic group of people. We had a fair number of vehicle problems on the trip but rather than complain, the students just made the best of it and had a good time. I'd like to thank all of the Bolivians who helped to make this trip a fruitful and reward experience for all of us.

I'd like to thank Jennifer Epley and Ruth Hobson who managed to read and enter my handwritten journal into MS Word format so that it could be presented here.
