Day 2 Fotos from Buenos Aires
| The first stop once we cleared customs was the bank in the airport where we exchanged dollars for pesos. Ordinarily, I would wait until I got into town but since we had lost luggage to look for, it gave the others something to do. | ![]() |

An experienced traveler in Argentina would recognize that these people are just off the plane. It is lunch time at La Estancia and the coke bottles far outnumber the wine bottles. Left to right are Chris, Guto, Nick, Dave, Josh, and Lauren. |
| After lunch we took a city tour. One of the obligatory stops is the Plaza de Mayo in front of the Casa Rosada, the seat of the government's Executive Branch. | ![]() |

The highlight of the stay in Buenos Aires was the Espectaculo at La Ventana, one of the city's premier tango clubs. The club sent vans to pick us up at our hotel. We were seated next to the stage for a fantastic introduction to Argentine culture. |
| All of the dancers and muscians put on a high quality act. The dinner was great too! | ![]() |

In addition to the tango acts, there are other traditional dances from different provinces and an excellent Andean conjunto. |
| For me, the most entertaining part of the show was the "Dueling Concertinas" toward the end. These guys were good! | ![]() |

After the grand finale, we reboarded the club vans and were taken back to our hotel. |
