| Volcanoes have been a passion of mine since I was in grade school.
I carried this passion to the point of getting a Master's Degree in Volcanology
before turning my interests to other areas of Geology. Nonetheless, they
still have a close place in my heart and I visit volcanic areas whenever
I can. I find that because of their high "sex appeal". Field trips to volcanic
regions are a great way to spark student interest in Geology.
